Bryan brings more than 25 years of experience in fine turf management, having overseen the development and maintenance of some of Tasmania’s most recognised turf surfaces across sporting venues, public spaces, and premium landscapes.
Bryan’s expertise spans turf selection, establishment, maintenance, and performance management under high-use conditions, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to deliver turf surfaces that not only look exceptional but also perform consistently over time.
Bryan’s career includes 14 years at UTAS Stadium, where he played a key role in overseeing major projects and infrastructure developments. Notably, he managed the $5 million UTAS Stadium ground redevelopment, which included the establishment of a “lay and play” turf nursery off-site at the Landfall property in 2018.
Bryan was also instrumental in the development of Tasmania’s only portable turf cricket wickets, showcasing innovation in sports ground management. In addition, he contributed to the $1.2 million redevelopment of Invermay Park, further strengthening local sporting facilities and community infrastructure.
Bryan’s hands-on approach, combined with his extensive technical knowledge, ensures every product is developed with performance, durability, and practical application at its core, delivering solutions that meet the demands of both residential and commercial environments.

Frank Archer combines extensive hands-on farming experience with strong commercial leadership, bringing a practical and strategic perspective to the business. As a member of the Landfall Angus and Landfall Turf management team, Frank oversees the 1,000-acre Tamar Valley property.
Frank’s family has farmed this land since 1876, building a long-standing reputation for quality agriculture, innovation, and responsible land stewardship. Frank’s instigation of the development of Landfall Turf farm is a natural extension of this rich farming heritage.
Through Frank’s involvement with high-performance pastures in Tasmania’s unique growing conditions, Frank has developed a deep understanding of what it takes to produce strong, resilient, and reliable grass surfaces. This knowledge underpins Landfall Turf’s commitment to delivering premium turf products tailored to the needs of Tasmanian homeowners, councils, schools, and sporting facilities.

Ricky has built an extensive career in the turf industry over the past 30 years, gaining experience across six countries and working at a range of highly regarded sports turf facilities renowned for delivering world-class playing surfaces.
Ricky’s career has included valuable time at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London before establishing a base in Southeast Asia, where he worked on professional sporting facilities throughout the region. These opportunities further developed his expertise in turf management, facility operations, and project management, establishing him as a highly accomplished turf industry professional.
In addition to his practical experience, Ricky has been a regular contributor to both online and print turf industry publications and has been invited to present at turf management conferences and seminars around the world.
