Turf Preparation & Laying

Once we have established what your needs are within your property, we can provide a quote to carry out the work. A quote will be detailed and unique to your situation, as it is determined by aspects such as time of year, yard area, whether the removal of debris is needed and the amount of soil underlay required. As a rough estimate, these are the kinds of things you will likely see on one of our turf installation quotes:

• Weed Spraying: If your site has weeds, weed spraying may be required. Sometimes weed eradication can be taken care of through the grass removal/excavation process.

• Grass Removal: If existing grass needs to be removed before installing new turf, it will usually be done using small excavation machinery. The cost will depend on many variables on site.

• Spoil Removal: Sometimes removing dirt, soil, and old turf before laying new grass is required. The cost depends on the volume of material that needs to be removed.

• Soil Underlay: If your area requires soil underlay, which is often the case, there will be supply & spreading costs associated with this.

• Hand Preparation: Hand preparation that requires our team to finalise site preparation, including leveling the area, moving soil, and clearing debris and fertilising the area. This service is charged based on the amount of work required. However, it will be clearly articulated in the quote.

• Turf Costs & delivery charges: The cost of your chosen turf will be based on the amount of square meters required. The delivery cost will depend on location. These costs will be the same regardless of if you prepare your own soil & lay the turf yourself or if Landfall Turf carry it out on your behalf.

• Turf Laying: The cost of turf laying for your yard will depend on the size and complexity of the area.

By the time we are finished at your house, your new lawn will present nicely with only ongoing watering required over the following weeks.

It is not 100% necessary for the homeowner to be present at the time of laying, If your area is complex, we recommend being on site when our team is there to save any confusion.
